My interest in art began as a small child, playing in my Grandmother's ceramics studio in Jupiter, Florida. My Grandmother, Dodie Thayer, an accomplished ceramist famous for her Lettuceware designs, provided a rich environment for inspiring creativity. As an adolescent, my interest in art expanded further, and I began entering my works in various contests and art shows. As a student at the University of Florida, I was able to expand my technique even further, and graduated from UF with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.

While I have experience in a wide range of mediums, my medium of choice is graphite. My subject matter can be quite diverse, but I specialize in portraits, primarily of children.
